The Herbal Clinic
Core College, Castlecomer, County Kilkenny
Our herbal clinic is a working practice, led by qualified herbalists with decades of experience. Consultations are free of charge and open to the public. Students observe quietly; they do not participate in your treatment.
When you arrive
You will be asked to complete a short health questionnaire. This helps your practitioner prepare and make the most of your hour together.
Your consultation
A qualified herbalist leads the consultation. A small group of student herbalists, no more than seven, observe quietly from the room. They do not participate in your consultation and are bound by the same confidentiality standards as the practitioner.
Your recommendations
You will leave with personalised dietary advice and, if appropriate, a herbal prescription. Herbal remedies are optional; there is no obligation to purchase anything.
Iridology is the practice of examining the iris of the eye to assess the state of the body's systems. Each area of the iris corresponds to a different organ or system, and the patterns and markings visible in the iris can indicate areas of strength or weakness.
At Core College, iridology is our primary health-assessment tool. Your practitioner will photograph both irises at the start of your consultation and use the images to guide your personalised recommendations.
It is non-invasive, painless, and takes only a few minutes.
